Mary, our pastry chef, reformulated our babka to reflect the taste profile requests from our consumers! Our babka is chocolatey, gooey but cuts perfectly into 8 slices. AND it is dairy free – so you can serve it with your Shabbat meat meal or really any meal or even as its own meal! The dough is very moist and together with the chocolate almost melts in your mouth. We will be accepting pre orders with a pick up the second Wednesday of each month.
Now you have a choice of Babka varieties to choose from. This new babka formulation is very similar to the new chocolate recipe but instead of chocolate it has a thick, moist cinnamon filling with chopped walnuts. It is amazing. Both our babkas also have a 5-7 day shelf life and even taste good warmed up in the microwave. We are joining the Bay Areas Babka craze!

We only offer Babka the second Wednesday of every month. Orders must be placed at least 7 days prior to desired in-store pickup date. All orders will be ready for pickup from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on the designated pickup date.

Chocolate: Bread flour, sugar, salt, yeast, soy milk, egg, non-dairy butter, dark chocolate, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, all purpose, flour, & chocolate chips.
Cinnamon Walnut: Bread, flour, sugar, salt, yeast, soy milk, egg,non dairy butter , brown sugar, cinnamon, egg whites, walnuts.
Non-dairy butter: Soy milk, apple cider vinegar, coconut vinegar, salt, refined coconut oil, canola oil, liquid soy lecithin, & xantham gum.
